So yes, Red Velvet built the house, but we’ve furnished it with everything you need for your comfort food era.

Who We Are

It didn’t start with passion. It started with frustration. I'm talking about a deep, soul-crushing frustration. 😬
Every bakery, every café, every event… the same desserts, the same things on the menu... almost everywhere. Maybe good, maybe not, but always predictable AF.
Sure, things have evolved (for sure, for sure, for sure), but I still couldn’t find the flavors I craved. Where was the red velvet cake that made me go “Mmmhhh” with every bite?
After tasting mind-blowing cakes, cookies, and cinnamon rolls on U.S. road trips and realizing Belgium had none of it... I had two choices: keep complaining or start baking. So I did. The seed of Naked Cakes was born.
No over-the-top decorations. No sad café food. No lifeless sponge or soulless coffee. Just bold, unapologetic flavors: cakes, cookies, comfort food, and drinks that make you feel like the main character in your own rom-com.
